Orange County Splash Pads & Splash Parks

There are many Orange County parks with splash pads that are great opportunities for families to stay cool during the summer months. Here is a list of the most popular splash pads in the area. All parks listed are free except Atlantis Play Center which has a small $2 admission fee.

Splash Pad Parks
Adlena Park
300 N. Adlena Drive, Fullerton
The Adlena Park Splash Pad has a large picnic shelter area, restrooms, basketball courts, and a playground. The splash pad is open daily from June through August from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. and weekends only through the end of September. Bathing suits are required in the splash park area.
Atlantis Play Center
13630 Atlantis Way, Garden Grove
Atlantis Play Center is a unique, enclosed park in Garden Grove with a serpent slide, swings, a pirate ship, and a splash pad. There is an entrance fee of $2 for everyone ages 3 and up. The splash pad is open from June through October. The park is currently open Saturday and Sunday 10:00 to 4:00.
Brenner Park Wading Pool
7373 San Rafael Drive, Buena Park
The Brenner Park wading pool is 25 feet long and 1 to 2 feet deep. The pool is open to children 6 years and younger. Recreational swimming for all ages is available at Peak and Boisseranc Park pools. Brenner Park wading pool is open from May – August, Monday through Friday from 1 – 4.
Brio Park
300 South Euclid Street, La Habra
Brio Park is the city’s newest park and features playgrounds, open space, exercise equipment, and a splash pad with a train-themed play area due to its proximity to the historic train depot.
Frontier Park
1400 Mitchell Ave, Tustin
The Frontier Park Splash Pad is open Monday through Friday mid-June through Labor Day from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and features a state of the art recirculating water system. Additional park features include a disc golf course, play equipment, and exercise equipment.
Fullerton Downtown Plaza
125 E. Wilshire Avenue, Fullerton
The Fullerton Downtown Plaza features an interactive fountain, not a bells & whistles splash pad, that sprays water from the ground for kids (and adults if you wish!) to cool off and enjoy some much loved water play. The spray pool runs daily from 10:30 to dusk, April through October. The Downtown Plaza, surrounding the Fullerton Museum Center, offers shaded seating, an outdoor stage, and decorative paving. The Downtown Fullerton Market occurs here every Thursday afternoon from April through October with vendors offering fresh produce, food, crafts, and more for sale.
Harry M. Dotson Park
10350 Fern Avenue, Stanton
Harry M. Dotson park is a fun, enclosed pirate themed park that features an accessible pirate ship play structure, a fort, boulders to climb, basketball courts, restrooms, and a splash pad. The “Wet Saloon” is a western themed water play area that offers a bit of shade. Shaded seating is also available. The splash pad is open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Heritage Park Irvine
14301 Yale Avenue, Irvine
Heritage Park in Irvine features many great amenities including a large playground area, many fields and courts for sports activities, a lake, a library, and a community center. Near the playground there is an interactive ground fountain that sprays water providing a fun water play option on warm days. Look for the big circle that resembles a compass rose. The splash pad is open year round.
Lemon Park
701 S. Lemon, Fullerton
The Lemon Park Spray Pool in Fullerton is open daily from June through August, and on weekends only through the end of September. Spray pool hours of operation are 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Bathing suits are required to play in the spray pool. The spray pool is a paved play area with several water-spray features for lots of water fun. The water play area is enclosed with a fence and features a recirculating water system.
Miraloma Park
2600 E. Miraloma Way, Anaheim, CA 92806
The park includes a playground, a skate area, an interactive water feature (fancy term for splash pad), an exercise and walking fitness trail, picnic area with BBQs, and drought tolerant landscaping.
Oeste Park
2300 W. Lambert Road, La Habra
Oeste Park Splash Pad in La Habra features a rocket ship themed play area to match the parks old space theme. Additional park features include two play areas, restrooms, and plenty of open space.
Pioneer Road Park
10250 Pioneer Road, Tustin
Pioneer Road Park is an exceptionally designed park that takes visitors back to the days of cowboys and covered wagons. There is a log cabin picnic structure with a stone fireplace, covered wagon play structures, lots of playground equipment, and a water play area with pop up fountains and horse head water cannons. Kids and adults alike will enjoy this park for the creativity and enjoyable amenities. The splash pad is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ponderosa Park
2100 S. Haster Street, Anaheim
The Ponderosa Park splash pad in Anaheim features a play area that includes flower shaped water showers, pop up fountains, water spray rings, and more. The colorful and fun new water play destination provides a cool place to escape the warm summer days and is open through the end of the summer. Ponderosa Park also features an updated playground, a skate park, a family resource center, and a community garden.
Rancho Santa Margarita Splash Pad at Central Park

The Rancho Santa Margarita splash is a zero-depth water that park features custom sprayers, bubblers, dumping buckets, and misters. In addition to ample seating and shade canopies, amenities include a tempered shower and onsite restrooms.
Santa Ana is currently working to add new splash pads, or water play areas, for the Santa Ana Zoo, and at El Salvador, Caesar Chavez, Madison, Memorial and Thornton parks.
Sigler Park
7200 Plaza Street, Westminster
The Sigler Park splash park is a large, fenced water play area with many unique water features including pelican heads that dump water onto the heads of children waiting below, water cannons, and more. Bathing suits are required and the splash pad is open from noon to 5:00 p.m. Water play is available on weekends from May through June then daily through the beginning of September. This is a popular location and it gets very busy. There is a regular play structure located near the splash pad for dry play and restrooms and changing rooms are located on site.
Sprayground Laguna Niguel
29751 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel
The splash park at Crown Valley Park in Laguna Niguel is a fun, colorful, multi-sensory water play experience with many water features including fountains, showers, water cannons, and more. In addition to this popular water play area, the forest-themed play structures with boulders to climb and monkey bars to swing from are a creative and unique play place for kids to explore. The Niguel Botanical Preserve is just steps away so this is a great location for a day of play and exploration.
Stanton Central Park
10660 Western Avenue, Stanton
Stanton Central Park opened in 2016 with a set of great new amenities for the community including a railroad themed playground that is staffed from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., a skate park, a butterfly garden, tennis courts, basketball courts, sports fields, an exercise loop, and a splash pad. The splash pad is open daily from noon to 5:00 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Water play features include a water tower, a train car fountain, and water cannons.
Valencia Park
2425 W. Valencia Drive, Fullerton, CA 92833
Valencia Park is located next to Valencia Park Elementary and was designed by the community. Visitors can take advantage of the many facilities this park has to offer including a wading pool.
Veterans Sports Park at Tustin Legacy
Corner of Lansdowne Road and Valencia Avenue, Tustin, CA 92780
A 31-acre sports complex and community park featuring a splash pad, skate park, and veteran’s monument and plaza. The sports complex features three lighted softball/baseball fields, four lighted soccer/multi-purpose fields bordered by a perimeter walking trail, two concession and restroom buildings, bullpens, spectator seating, and a children’s play area with custom play structures. Additional amenities include exercise stations, an open turf play area, gazebos, benches, lighted basketball and tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, pickleball courts, and associated parking areas.

Splish-splash, jump around and make it a day-of fun for the kids at the Splash Pad located in the Union Market Courtyard near Tilly’s & Vans in The Promenade.
Irvine Spectrum
71 Spectrum Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618
While not a park we’re adding this one in for the added benefit of doing a little shopping while getting some fun time in for the kids. This small splash pad is located by Target and Chidren’s Place stores. Be sure to bring a change of clothes if you plan to continue shopping.
Fullerton Downtown Plaza
125 E. Wilshire Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832
Fullerton Downtown Plaza is a 1.2 acre space surrounding the Fullerton Museum Center. The fountain operates daily, from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m., weather permitting.
